The Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour is a thrilling 45-minute journey on the Niagara River. The jet boats speed along class five rapids and pass through some of the most picturesque scenes in the Niagara Gorge. The tours operate daily from May to October departing from Lewiston, about 7 miles (11 km) from the Niagara Falls. There are also departures from the Canadian city of Niagara-on-the-Lake, about 15 miles (24 km) away. Get soaked on the Wet Jet Boat or keep yourself dry on the closed Dome Jet Boat.
