Staten Island, New York City - The St. George Neighborhood

St. George is a neighborhood located in the northeastern shores Staten Island, and is the administrative center of the island's government. It is also the location of the St. George Terminal, where the Staten Island Ferry sails between the southern tip of Manhattan. For most visitors to New York City, a trip to Staten Island is to the ferry terminal and a short walk around St. George. From the waterfront, you can get scenic views of New York Harbor as well as Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Statue of Liberty in the distance.
