The Staten Island Botanical Garden is part of the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, located in Richmond Terrace on Staten Island. This botanic garden comprises of 53 acres (21 ha) of woodlands and over 20 themed gardens. The themed gardens are beautifully landscaped with a Victorian charm and setting, and include the Rose Garden, Secret Garden, and the White Garden. Not to be missed is the authentic Ming Dynasty Chinese Scholar's Garden, built and handcrafted by artisans brought in from China.
