Darien Lake is an amusement park and resort located about 30 miles (48 km) east of Buffalo, south of the New York State Thruway (I-90) on State Highway 77. The theme park covers 980 acres (396 hectares) of which 360 acres (146 hectares) are developed area. Those planning to stay the night, accommodation here includes campgrounds, lodges, guesthouses, cabins, and RV rentals. Attractions include various thrill rides including roller coasters, water rides, concerts, and free nights shows featuring laser lights and fireworks.
