The New York Transit Museum is housed in the former Court Street Subway Station, at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The Transit Museum also has a small museum annex at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The main museum has an interesting collection of historical artifacts that were once used by New York City's subway, bus, tunnel, and bridge systems. Exhibits include subway cars, equipment, and signage as well as old photographs and artwork.
