Prospect Park is a 585-acre (237 ha) urban park located in New York City's borough of Brooklyn. The park is part of the Brooklyn-Queens Greenway, a bicycle and pedestrian path connecting several parks in Brooklyn and Queens. Prospect Park features a long meadow covering 90 acres (36 ha), wooded areas, and a watercourse that comprises of a number of man-made waterways and lakes including the 60-acre Prospect Park Lake. Within the park is the 12-acre (5 ha) Prospect Park Zoo.
