The Bronx, New York City - New York Botanical Garden

The New York Botanical Garden in Bronx Park spans an area of 250 acres (100 ha) - you can practically spend a whole day here. This botanic garden features 50 gardens and plant collections including year-round and seasonal (spring, summer, autumn, winter). Gardens and collections include the Rose Garden, Herb Garden, Perennial Garden, Native Plant Garden, Azalea Garden, and Ornamental Conifers. Other attractions include a native forest covering 50 acres (20 ha), wetlands, and a Victorian-style glasshouse.
