Long Island, New York State - To Long Island by Train

Penn Station, in the borough of Manhattan, is the main train station in New York City. The station is the terminal for Amtrak trains in this city and station for commuter trains operated by the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), New Jersey Transit, Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH), and New York City Subway. Penn Station also serves as a stop for long distance (inter-city) buses operated by BoltBus and Vamoose. From here, several lines on the Long Island Rail Road head to various destinations across Long Island.
