Buffalo, New York State - Around Buffalo by Metro Rail

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) operates Buffalo's light rail transit system called NFTA Metro Rail. The system currently comprises of only one line spanning 6.4 miles (10.3 km) and includes eight underground and five above ground stations. The trains travel between Erie Canal Harbor Station and University Station, passing through Buffalo's downtown area. A one-way ticket cost $2 and passes offering unlimited travel are available for one day ($5), seven days ($25), and 30 days ($75).
