The Metro-North Railroad is a commuter train service traveling between New York City and cities in the northern suburbs, in the states of New York and Connecticut. Three commuter lines (on the east side of the Hudson River) connect to New York City at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan - the Hudson Line from Poughkeepsie, Harlem Line from Wassaic, and New Haven Line from New Haven. The three lines also provides commuter rail service for travels within New York City at reduced fares.
