Flushing is a neighborhood in the borough of Queens and within it is an enclave known as Chinatown, one of the three Chinatowns in New York City. This East Asian enclave is situated around Union Street, Main Street, and Roosevelt Avenue. The Chinese (from various regions of China including Taiwan) form the largest Asian community here followed by the Koreans. The enclave has a very East Asian flavor and home to various Asian-owned businesses including shops, grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants.
