Flushing is a culturally diverse neighborhood in the borough of Queens. East Asians account for nearly half of the neighborhood's residents, and not surprising it is home to the second largest Chinatown in New York City. The Flushing neighborhood is primarily residential occupied by small businesses, which many are Asian-owned. It is also home to several historical buildings including the 17th century Bowne House, mid-19th century Flushing Town Hall, and the St. George’s Episcopal Church from the same period.
