Brooklyn's Chinatown is an enclave centering along Eighth Avenue in the neighborhood of Sunset Park. During the early part of the 20th century, it was home for many Norwegian immigrants and then known as "Little Norway". Chinese immigrants began to settle here in the 1980s and eventually expanded their presence. Though not as touristy as the other Chinatowns in New York City, visitors will not be disappointed exploring this Asian neighborhood with its Chinese shops, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, and temples.
