New York City - The Staten Island Ferry

The Staten Island Ferry is a ferry service transporting commuters between the Whitehall Terminal in Lower Manhattan and St. George Terminal on Staten Island. Besides being a commuter service, the Staten Island Ferry is another popular tourist attraction in New York City and best of all its free. A single or one-way journey takes around 25 minutes and features scenic views of Lower Manhattan, New York Harbor, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the New Jersey shoreline, and the northern coast of Staten Island.
