Manhattan, New York City - Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City is an interesting museum devoted to military and maritime history. This museum is located at Pier 86th (on 46th Street) on the former aircraft carrier USS Intrepid. Exhibits include an assortment of US military aircraft as well as aircraft from Israel, Poland, Italy, and France. Others include the supersonic Concorde, Lockheed A-12 spy plane, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise. Nearby the aircraft carrier is the USS Growler, a former cruise missile submarine.
