Manhattan, New York City - American Natural History Museum

The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) is located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This world famous museum in New York City is one of the largest of its kind in the world. It is also one of the most visited museums in the city. The museum comprises of 27 interconnected buildings, housing 45 permanent exhibition halls and a planetarium. It is home to a collection of more than 32 million specimens including plants, animals, fossils, minerals, and cultural artifact - only a small fraction is exhibited at any time.
