Located in Midtown Manhattan, Grand Central Terminal used to be the terminal for Amtrak trains in New York City until 1991. It's now used by commuters riding on the Metro-North Railroad, traveling between New York City and the neighboring counties in New York State and Connecticut. The architecture of the station was designed in the Beaux-Arts style and today another major tourist attraction in New York City. Grand Central Terminal is also home to several restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and a market.
