New York City - Climate in New York City

Summers in New York City (June-September) are hot and humid, autumn (September-December) cool and dry, winter (December-March) cold and damp, and spring (March-June) cool and wet. High temperatures in summer ranges from 79°F (26°C) to 84°F (29°C) but often exceed 90°F (32°C). In winter, high temperatures ranges from 38°F (3°C) to 50°F (10°C) but often experiences temperatures below freezing. Furthermore, winters are prone to snowstorms with nearly 2 feet of snow dumped within a day or two.
