Long Island MacArthur Airport is a small airport outside New York City in Ronkonkoma, Long Island, about 51 km (80 km) from Midtown Manhattan. The airport handles domestic flights (mainly Southwest Airlines and US Airways Express) serving Long Island but can be used to get to New York City. There is a shuttle bus service to the Ronkonkoma Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Station, where there are trains heading to Penn Station in Manhattan. Taxis, limousines, and car rentals are also available from the airport.
