Niagara Falls, New York State - The American Falls

The American Falls is the second largest of the three falls that comprise the Niagara Falls, which is entirely located within the US state of New York. The American Falls account for a tenth of all the water flowing over the Niagara Falls. The crest of the American Falls measure 830 feet (250 meters) in width, 110 feet (34 meters) at its highest, and 70 feet (21 meters) at its lowest. Visitors can get spectacular views of the crest of the American Falls from the edge of Goat Island, Luna Island, and the riverbank.
